14 DAY TRIAL // Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has started to deliver a new software update for the owners of Nokia 515 handsets out there, namely firmware 7.01.
“We have started rolling out a new software update for Nokia 515 (RM-953): v. 7.01. This is a global update and should be already available for users in many of the countries/regions via FOTA (Over-The-Air),” a Nokia employee announced via the company’s support forums.
As part of the new release, users will enjoy a series of improvements to the battery performance of their devices, as well as various enhancements to the phone’s software stability.
Moreover, the update brings along support for Lunar calendar (available in China only), as well as various other general usability and performance improvements.
Users can check on the availability of the update through going to Menu > Settings > Phone > Device updates. More info on the new release can be found in the aforementioned forum post.
