It looks like a new Nokia handset will be heading over to the United States. The mobile phone that is listed as the RM-320 will come with a design which is similar to that of the 3250, meaning that it will feature a rotating lower part and will probably be a phone targeting music enthusiasts.

At the moment, many mobile phone manufacturers
seem to be focusing on providing mobile phones with advanced multimedia capabilities having noticed how very popular they are among consumers.

The phone will apparently not be part of the N or E series, the phone model being XXXX for now. The mobile phone will support global roaming on both 2G and 3G networks and it will be a quad-band GSM and tri-band UMTS device.

Chances are that it will also be HSPDA-capable. Just like the 3250, it will probably come with a numeric keypad on one side of the rotating lower part and play/pause and camera keys on the other side.

The mobile phone has just been approved by the Federal Communications Commission and will be fully usable in the US where it will be heading after its official release.

There is no information on what wireless carriers will be offering this phone so far. While it's not clear when the phone will be released, it will probably be presented at the 3GSM show in Barcelona.

Just as in the case of other mobile phones that got approved by the FCC, more information should be available soon, including a more detailed feature list and maybe even a photo to see what the handset will actually look like.
