Classic clamshell Nokia phone

Nokia 3555 follows the lines set by the previously released Nokia 6555 mobile phone, but brings no evolved features in addition to that. The device could still see a great market, as there are many people out there who look for less evolved performances from their handsets to also trigger a smaller price.

Nokia 3555 looks[admark=1] like a classic clamshell. It's slightly curved and features smooth, feminine lines that are supposed to add a great deal of elegance. It is not the case, though, as the phone looks incredibly bulky and uncomfortable to use. Moreover, when opened, the buttons take up only a small amount of the available space, making it clear that the phone's large battery is what actually led to the unusual sizes. In other words, it loses all style and elegance on account of the dimensions that make it look like an old fashioned and not evolved handset.

The phone runs on GSM networks, which made AT&T look like the best option for carrying it in the US. Surprisingly, Nokia 3555 also includes 3G support, great for listening to the radio. There is also an MP3 player included and a microSD card slot for making sure that the user has enough space for storing all music and personal files on it.

The display screen looks pretty low end, with a 128 x 160 pixels resolution. Moreover, the specification list of features above the basic stops here. The device has to offer only low-end capabilities that most entry-level mobile phones are capable of bringing for their users.

News on Nokia 3555 being approved by FCC have been spotted a long time back. It looks like the handset is now heading towards AT&T, as this network is best equipped for making the best of its phone's features.
