At first sight, the 2605 seems a very pleasant phone, which, although not packing the most desirable features and not having the best capabilities, makes up for everything with its ingenious, customizable looks. It appeals mostly to the young (at heart) clients, looking for a well built and a good-looking design. It is also presented as being the perfect gift for the trendsetter, who is said to be able to recognize this mobile's value before anyone else.

In order for you to fully enjoy this Nokia's customizable capabilities, you should be aware that these are mostly made up of Nokia Xpress-on snaps, which allow you to change the battery cover and the camera cover, thus letting you make the 2605 as you would most appreciate it.

To aid you in this “quest,” the Mirage comes available with many different models of Xpress-on snaps, such as flower options, or stripes and animal prints, and they are all purchasable. Such options are said to increase the fun factor, and to turn your device into an easy recognizable and more distinguished one.

Even if, so far, this Nokia may have created the impression of being fit only for childish users trying to show off with their device, that's not actually true, as you are going to discover soon, thanks to the somehow impressing specs it features. To start off this presentation, the VGA camera, the advanced voice recognition feature and built-in speakers represent the focus points of this mobile. Also, after checking out the navigation menu, which it is said to be one of the most easily manageable menus Nokia has to offer, and the spectacular color show put on every time you use the display, you might actually change for the better your initial opinion on this device.

Furthermore, the Mirage comes with text and picture messaging capabilities, plus the Bluetooth support, which offers great wireless headset support, as well as affordable and convenient connectivity. Adding the Mobile-Web capabilities, very useful for staying in touch with all sorts of news, and the fact that it has been developed for easy on-the-go connectivity, taking this phone seriously becomes easier for almost all types of customers.

Coming from Verizon Wireless, the 2605 Mirage is already available for online orders, being scheduled to go on sale in stores starting December 23, at a price of $49.99 on a two-year deal, after a $50 mail-in rebate. Still, this rebate will not be available as cash, but clients can instead receive a $50 debit card.
