Just a while ago, rumors regarding a new mobile phone that Nokia is preparing for launch showed up, accompanied by a leaked photo revealing what the handset would look like. Judging strictly from the photo (as no details regarding the features were revealed), one could mostly associate the phone with one of Nokia's previous models, the 8800.

The rumored replacement for Nokia's 8800 was recently also discovered on Carphone Warehouse's 'coming soon' page. Of course, details are still unknown and all Carphone could say is that the phone is so new it hasn't even got a name, dubbing the phone 'High Fashion'. Fortunately, this is the only info that previous rumors have already provided and the phone is said to be released as the Nokia 8600 Luna.

Just as the 8800, the Luna will most likely target fashion-conscious users, mostly interested in the design of a handset and not as much in the features it brings. Everything from this point on is based on rumors and speculation. The Luna is said to come with a 2-megapixel camera, 1GB internal memory and a media player.

It will most likely be running Symbian Series 40 and end up being a part of Nokia's fashion or premium phone line. Rumor also has it that it will be more affordable than the 8800, but considering the type of users these stylish phones generally target, chances of a lower price are quite slim. Since Carphone already hurried to post this phone on their website, it should not take Nokia long either to officially announce this phone and provide more info regarding it.
