Nofan has been making strange looking computer coolers for quite some time now, recently the company unveiling the CR-95C, which just went on sale in Japan at the end of last week.

Measuring no less than 180mm in diameter, the CR-95C is surely a monster of a cooler, but its noteworthy feature is the so-called IcePipe design.

What is this, you ask? Well, IcePipe is actually the name used by Nofan for referring to a series of super-thin heatpipes, that are placed alongside the edge of the cooler and are responsible of drawing the heat away from the CPU.

According to Nofan, this design is actually so effective that it enables the CR-95C to cool processors with TDPs up to 95W without requiring any fans.

The CR-95C is available right now in Japan for Yen 9980 (about $130 US), but other parts of the world should also get it quite soon.
