Noctua's NF-F12 120mm Focused Flow fan is not the first, nor the last of the company's fans, but it is the newest and, apparently, the one that produces one of, if not the strongest static air pressure.

Aerodynamically optimized, it has both a high airflow and a low noise generation.

Also, it is made in such a way as to “spread the noise emission over a broader frequency spectrum,” via stator guide vanes, that are set out in Varying Angular Distance, and by means of Vortex-Control Notches.

This makes its sound pattern easier on the ear, while the Stepped Inlet Design increases suction capacity while smoothening flow transition, among other things.
