The latest build for NoScript extension for Firefox is 2.6.1. The list of modifications is not large and it informs of both new things and repairs.

As part of the developer’s effort to increase protection against XSS (cross-site scripting), the current revision of the extension improves compatibility with Ebay’s saved searches.

The repairs available address the failure of the first non-cached page load in a session from about:newtab. This has been achieved by removing the legacy XUL script blocking code. Also fixed is the bug in Java URLs resolution.

As far as the new stuff is concerned, he developer adds optional diagnostic to centralized channel aborting.

NoScript allows JavaScript, Java, Flash and other plugins to be executed only by trusted websites of your choice. You can download it from this page.
