No new features available, just improvements and fixes

NoScript reached a new major release as it has been updated to version 2.5. Although most users would expect a slew of new features, as is generally the case with major revisions, the current build of the extension follows in the same lines as before, showing improvements and fixes.

NoScript 2.5 has been through six release candidates, each of them dealing with repairing broken functions or improvements (XML handling algorithm preserves E4X detection accuracy and removes false positives).

Glitches eliminated in this release refer to the interaction with Firefox's built-in click-to-play that caused infinite object activation loop and layout quirks because of placeholders for absolutely positioned elements.

Moreover, the extension now has an exception for self-injecting yahoo.com/yimg.com frames, which can be disabled by setting the “noscript.filterXExceptions.yahoo” in Firefox “about:config” menu to false. Also, browser tools at the bottom of the content should no longer interfere with NoScript's notification height.
