The changes in the new NoScript extension for Firefox may look like nothing much, but compared to the regular modifications over various development versions this edition, 2.1.6, shows quite a list.
New additions and bug fixes come in the same amount, with three entries on each side. Newly introduced in NoScript 2.1.6 are keyboard shortcuts for temporary allowing all scripts to run on a loaded page (noscript.keys.tempAllowPage) and for revoking temporary permissions (noscript.keys.revokeTemp).
Another new feature is the possibility to set up a shortcut for toggling on/off “(Temporary) allow all this page” menu items (noscript.menuAccelerators). Setting up the shortcuts can be done from about:config advanced settings menu in Firefox.
As far as the fixes go, they tackle the notification system, mend leak issues with pages with embedded content and take care of Anonymize actions being logged twice.
