AT&T, Sprint and Verizon are all expected to have the latest iPhone model available for purchase on their airwaves, but T-Mobile will not join the party.

The carrier was rumored at a certain point to plan on bringing the new Apple iconic device to its network, but it seems that all that proved false.

Magenta will not be releasing the new iPhone 5 during the ongoing year, T-Mobile Chief Marketing Officer Cole Brodman stated during a town hall meeting for T-Mobile employees.

“We are not going to get the iPhone 5 this year,” is what Brodman stated, TmoNews discovered.

This leaves little room for speculation, that's for sure, although it does not offer a more detailed view of the device.

The iPhone 5 is still expected to hit the market as a world phone, and might even include support for 4G networks, just as previously rumored.

Moreover, since Apple has been long rumored to plan the release of not one, but two iPhone models before the end of this year, chances are that the wireless carrier might still get a taste of the iconic device.

Some suggested that there might be an iPhone 4S model launched on the market this year, and that it would prove only a refreshed iPhone 4 device, set to hit the shelves at all four major carriers in the United States.

While the iPhone 5 is clearly out of T-Mobile's plans for the ongoing year, enthusiasts hope that the other rumored model might still be set to arrive on shelves at Magenta this year, since the company's CMO does not make a specific reference to it.

One way or the other, Apple is expected to make an official announcement on its plans for the next iPhone flavor in a matter of weeks, and all the necessary details on this will be unveiled at that moment, so stay tuned.
