The new Windows Store is growing up at a rather fast pace, but the good news is that large companies across the world have started porting their apps to the new Windows 8 too.

And still, Apple has no intention to do so with iTunes, Tami Reller, Microsoft chief financial officer, was quoted as saying by CNNMoney.

“You shouldn't expect an iTunes app on Windows 8 any time soon. ITunes is in high demand. The welcome mat has been laid out. It's not for lack of trying,” Reller explained.

iTunes is already available on Windows 8, but it can only be used in the desktop environment, just like on the other Windows versions currently on the market.

Windows RT users, on the other hand, have absolutely no option to install iTunes. Not for now, at least.
