Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are not planning for a summer / early-autumn wedding. Contrary to recent reports, the A-list stars are not even talking about marriage, standing their ground firmly on what they believe of the institution of marriage, it has emerged. As we
also noted yesterday, reports were pouring in that the two had finally decided to say their “I Dos” and make their relationship one hundred percent official.
Word in the glossies had it that they had even settled for a date and location: their French castle sometime in September, only in the company of family and very close friends.
People magazine is now rubbishing the rumors, even though it doesn’t have a statement from the couple’s rep either.
Reliable sources are saying for the celebrity magazine that Brad and Angelina are not planning a wedding right now and that reports to the contrary are pure lies.
“‘There is no evidence nor any single truth’ to recent published reports that the couple will wed this summer or in the next few months, though the couple remain open to one day tying the knot,” People writes, citing an unnamed source.
The two are also very busy right now with work – apparently too busy to be thinking of getting married, even in a small, intimate ceremony.
“They are too busy with projects and causes close to their hearts – Pitt on set abroad filming his latest movie, World War Z, and Jolie just returned to Los Angeles, having spent family time with their children on Pitt’s Malta film location,” People says.
“After shooting, Pitt will be busy with promotion for Moneyball and Cogan’s Trade, and Jolie will put the finishing touches on her directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey,” the publication adds.
In other words, while they remain open to the idea of one day walking down the aisle to become husband and wife, Brad and Angelina are simply too busy right now to start planning a wedding, People concludes.
