Well, in case you're not familiar with this annual tribute paid to all things hot, here's how the creators of the top present the results of their latest endeavors into pure feminine beauty. "The top is is an annual list ranking the famous females deemed to be the year's most alluring. In casting their votes, readers are asked to look beyond sex appeal and beauty to pick women who have the characteristics they value in a potential companion, like intelligence, humor, charisma, and ambition". 1.Katherine Heigl

What we say

Katherine sure is hot, and yes, she's had a great year, by far the best of her career. However, if we look back at the ladies she beat to make it to number one, I must say that both Eva Mendes and Alessandra Ambosio are - in my humble opinion - way hotter than she is. Plus, Katherine is what you'd call a bit of a whiner - who even ended up criticizing her own critic-acclaimed movie "Knocked Up" for being sexist. She's hot, but maybe just a tiny little bit narrow minded - or maybe she's simply taking her time adjusting to making the passage to Hollywood's A list, where she rightfully belongs.

2.Alessandra Ambrosio

I definitely would have voted Alessandra number 1. Not only is she one of the world's top models, but she's also a National Ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and as close to heaven sent as I ever saw - and I think I can find no better argument except this.




3.Kate Beckinsale

Amen to that. Kate is one of the true ladies out there. You haven't seen her name in the tabloids, have you? Sexy and sophisticated - maybe Kate will be number one next year. Fingers crossed.

That sure is true, and yes, Jessica is a gorgeous lady, but I think that she looses a lot of points in the "attitude" department. I mean, it's natural to want your privacy, and it's natural to defend it - but from here to hypocrisy, it's just a short leap. Jessica still needs to come to terms with her star status, and understand that once you started playing the fame game, there are certain rules you must follow. And from hypocrisy to ingratitude, the road is even shorter. Just a friendly warning. That being said, Jessica sure is hot, and her number five position is well earned.
