Developer Crystal Dynamics has confirmed that it has no plans, at least at this time, to bring the many upgrades made to Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition onto the PC, meaning they'll remain exclusive to PS4 and Xbox One.

The new Tomb Raider title impressed many gamers in spring of 2013, when it appeared for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, but the PC edition was the best looking, boasting a high-definition resolution and framerate, but also special options like TressFX.

Now, most of those new mechanics, as well as quite a few other upgrades, are set to debut for the PS4 and Xbox One, in the form of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

Unfortunately for PC users, Crystal Dynamics has now reinforced previous statements, confirming on its forums that a PC version of the game or a definitive update won't be released at this time.
