Nokia Lumia 900, the high-end smartphone that Nokia will push to shelves in the United States with LTE connectivity, will not feature a Pentile Matrix layout.

The smartphone will hit shelves with a Clear Black AMOLED display, just as its predecessor, the Lumia 800, but will not feature sport for a Pentile Matrix layout.

Nokia US themselves confirmed that, via a recent post on their Twitter account. “No, the display isn't Pentile,”Nokia said, in reply to a user inquiry.

Lumia 900 is the third handset that Nokia unveiled to the world with Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system on board, but is the first of them to sport LTE connectivity capabilities.

The mobile phone has been unveiled earlier this week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and will arrive in the US in the coming months, exclusively on the airwaves of AT&T.
