E3 2015 is set to begin next week, and the analysts at Wedbush Securities have presented their own forecasts on what might and might not happen at the event. Most importantly, there will be no price cuts for the PS4 or Xbox One platforms, but new bundles with select games and goodies might be presented by both Sony and Microsoft.

The gaming industry is set to flock to Los Angeles next week for the annual E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) convention, where all sorts of developers and publishers will showcase their upcoming projects and make big announcements concerning the future.

This year, all sorts of major titles have already been revealed, such as Fallout 4, while others have only been confirmed officially or leaked unofficially.

No price cuts for PS4 or Xbox One

The Wedbush Securities team of analysts led by Michael Pachter has shared their predictions about next week's event, via Benzinga, revealing quite a few interesting things.

First up, there will be no price cuts for the PS4 or Xbox One, as neither Sony nor Microsoft is willing to slash the official price of their consoles. They are, however, expected to debut new bundles that add more free games and other rewards, in order to sweeten the deal for those who haven't purchased a new device just yet.

It's quite likely that the old PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles might get another series of price cuts, although it's unclear just how low their new prices might go.

In terms of publishers, the Wedbush team mentions that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Star Wars Battlefront are going to lead the wave of hype in and around E3 2015 amidst fans and media representatives.

While E3 begins officially on June 16, Sony, Microsoft, EA, and Ubisoft are set to hold their own press events one day early, on June 15.
