Startup nbryte has announced an iPad accessory via Kickstarter.com to eliminate arm fatigue for people using their tablets for long video sessions.
A recent Nielson survey has found that some of the heaviest use of tablet devices takes place while lying in bed. However, many people complain about the weight of the iPad, when they want to watch a full-length movie. The tablift
is a new accessory introduced by startup nbryte which allows for hands-free iPad-viewing on any uneven surface. This includes the bed and the couch. Even though it looks like the rollcage of a furious 4x4, the developers promise that their accessory will make watching a movie on the iPad more akin to watching a movie on a conventional TV.
Launched on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter, the tablift can be pre-ordered immediately. The campaign ends Thursday, July 12.
