Kylie Minogue's comeback might have been long expected, but fans are not exactly crowding to buy her 'Love Kylie' lingerie items. According to two retailers' representatives, they will be taking off all underwear garments produced under the Minogue brand, simply because nobody wants to buy them anymore.
The Myer upmarket store and the boutique chain Bras' N' Things, both situated in the singer's native country, are currently removing the lingerie items from their shelves, as sales have decreased considerably over the past few weeks.
The 'Love Kylie' collection was designed, launched and promoted by the Australian singer in 2004 and, during her breast cancer recuperation, sales have gone through the roof. But, now, it is selling so bad that the retailers say it's no use keeping it on the shelves.
And this might be just another step back for Kylie, the first one being that tickets for her concerts are not so sought for as she and her manager had anticipated. A source told an Australian newspaper: 'It's a blow on top of the news that her comeback concerts are far from sold out. It's like her own country is losing interest in her'.
Looking on the brighter side of things, another source close to the singer says that Kylie is currently in talks with another chain of exclusive boutiques to relaunch the lingerie line that Myer and Bras 'N' Things no longer want.
