With Marcia Cross getting pregnant with twins, the choice for the producers of the ABC hit series, 'Desperate Housewives' was a rather difficult one: either write her pregnancy into the script or send her character on a journey or something else until Marcia gives birth.
In a recent interview during 'Live With Regis and Kelly', the red-headed actress said that, although she is to give birth in April, her character, Bree, will not get pregnant in the show. So, that must mean that the producers went for the latter option and will probably send Bree away until Marcia delivers her children.
Meanwhile, Marc Cherry asked the rest of the female cast to avoid having babies, at least this year. According to the Latino beauty Eva Longoria, the shoot for the first episode of the new season began with him asking them to not get pregnant because babies 'are really hard to write in!'.
But that won't stop Eva from becoming a mother. As she says herself, she will have 'as many [children] as God will give me - two, three, four, five...' with the basketball star and her long time boyfriend Tony Parker. But, because, their 'work schedule is so crazy', they will just have to wait for the right moment.
