HTC HD7, the Windows Phone 7 handset set to land on Monday at T-Mobile USA, sports the largest touchscreen display such a device comes to shelves with, but lacks something that many users might have loved to have with it, namely an exchangeable microSD memory card.

In all fairness, the smartphone does come with a microSD memory card slot inside, but users won't be able to put a card of their own in it.

According to some of the latest reports around the Internet, T-Mobile was pretty specific about this, and even underlined the fact that adding some more storage space with HD7 would void the warranty for this device.

“Thank you for your interest in T-Mobile and the HTC HD7. Please be advised that the HTC HD7 is equipped with 16 GB of internal memory. Any attempts to modify the device would result in voiding the device’s one-year Limited Warranty,” a response from the wireless carrier reported states.

As a whole, the HTC HD7 is said to be a great device, both on the hardware and on the software side.

Proof of that comes from two videos published over at pocketnow and embedded at the bottom of this article.

The first video is aimed at offering a hardware tour of HTC HD7, while the second of them offers a closer look at the software solutions HTC and T-Mobile packed inside the handset.

The HD7 sports a 1GHz application processor inside, complemented by a high-quality photo snapper on the back, and enhanced connectivity options.

The phone was also packed with great multimedia capabilities. It measures only 68 x 122 x 11.2 mm and sports a 1230 mAh battery.

T-Mobile has included some nice software solutions inside it, such as TeleNav GPS navigation, T-Mobile TV, the HTC Hub, and more.

More info on what the handset includes can be found on the videos below. Expect the HD7 to retail at T-Mobile for $199 on a two-year contract.
