BioWare has confirmed that it won’t be running its traditional Mass Effect 3 multiplayer operation this weekend as the studio wants to let gamers thoroughly enjoy the 4th of July celebrations in the U.S.

Mass Effect 3’s online mode has attracted a lot of players ever since the release of the game back in March.

In order to keep them interested in the experience, developer BioWare organized special weekend Operations that challenged players to achieve certain objectives.

These events were held every other week and quite a lot of people eagerly awaited to see what objectives they would have this weekend.

Sadly for them, BioWare confirmed that it wouldn’t be organizing a multiplayer operation due to the 4th of July holiday.

As such, the next multiplayer challenge will appear next weekend, between July 14 and 15.
