Microsoft's Phil Spencer has confirmed that one of the next big indie games, No Man's Sky, would be great for the Xbox One console, but declined to confirm that negotiations were taking place between the company and developer Hello Games.

No Man's Sky amazed lots of gamers back in December at the VGX 2013 event, showing off an ambitious space and planet exploration experience with procedurally-generated environments and adventures.

The game hasn't been confirmed for any platform, but Microsoft's Phil Spencer has revealed on his Twitter that the game would look great on the Xbox One.

Unfortunately, he declined to say if the game was actually coming onto that platform or if Microsoft was negotiating with Hello Games, the independent developer behind the eagerly awaited title.

As such, expect to hear more about No Man's Sky and its possible Xbox One release soon.
