A while ago, when super action flick 'The Fast and the Furious' came out, everyone knew who Vin Diesel was. Even more, following said film, Vin became an international star, getting more and more fans by the day, not only because he looked good and could pull off action scenes like a pro (duh!) but also because he seemed to really have something going on for him - talent. Today, we barely hear his name every once in a while so it's only natural to ask ourselves: is Vin going to the dogs? Is his career over?

Various media outlets seem to think so. Aside from facing some serious problems on the set of his latest movie, 'Babylon A.D' because of his ego, there is some speculation according to which the hunky actor will find it very hard to find work in Hollywood from now on. Apparently, production for 'Babylon' went so over the budget and the original schedule, that the studio actually had to go to Film Finances Inc., a company that ensures the sponsors of a project that it will be completed, for more funds ($1.5 million).

Per the same sources, the budget was overblown because the main star, Vin Diesel and the director, Mathieu Kassovitz, couldn't stand to be in the same room at the same time and shooting had to be put on a hiatus for a while. 'These guys really didn't get along. I think they wouldn't mind if they never saw each other again', was how one source described to the media how things stood between Diesel and Kassovitz on the set of the movie.

Although Kassovitz has quite a reputation for being a temperamental man, many find it very hard to work with, Vin is said to be in the very claws of desperation because no one wants to work with him anymore. 'Vin is panicked. He turned down "The Fast and the Furious" 2 and 3 because he was "too big" for sequels, and he's now begging Universal to do a "Fast and Furious 4".', another source from the set told PageSix. However, Vin's rep insists that everything is just fine and dandy: the movie is a wrap and everything went along great. Plus, 'Vin is not a diva', he ensures us.

'Babylon A.D', also starring Michelle Yeoh and Gerard Depardieu is scheduled for release in February 2008. It is a long way from now but, never mind that: we get to see Vin back in action!
