The whole GeForce 700 lineup will arrive in late May

The GeForce GTX Titan has made the news so often that we've seen all rumored, future high-end NVIDIA cards be called a variation of the name: Titan LE for a slower version, Titan Ultra for a better one.

The Titan LE is a particularly curious case, due to the shifting beliefs about its actual name. In fact, there may be no Titan LE after all.

BrightSideofNews has posted a report in which it says that the whole new GeForce 700 graphics card lineup has been set for release next month (May 2013).

In it, it also says that the card that people have been calling GeForce GTX Titan LE will not actually bear that name. Instead, it will be dubbed the GeForce GTX 780.

This is consistent with earlier rumors, rumors which were deemed invalid by later revelations, though we suppose said revelations are being, in turn, debunked.

GeForce GTX 780 will have 5 GB GDDR5 VRAM, a 320-bit interface, and 40 ROPs.

It will use the GK110 graphics processing unit with 2,486 CUDA cores. Its price will be of $499 / 499 EUR to $599 / 599 EUR.

The second card, GeForce GTX 770, will be powered by the GK104-425 GPU (1,536 CUDA cores) and will get 32 ROPs, 4 GB GDDR5, 256-bit interface and a price of $399 / 399 EUR.

That leaves the GeForce GTX 760 Ti, so we can surmise that a second wave of HD 700 boards will include GTX 760/750 non-Ti boards. No clue when they will show up though.

In any case, the GTX 760 Ti has 1344 CUDA cores, 32 ROPs, 2 GB GDDR5 over 256-bit interface, and a price of $299 / €299.

Since all of them are supposed to start shipping next month, we presume NVIDIA will hold a single launch even for them all. A staggered release is still possible however.
