Bethesda has confirmed that it won't make any Fallout 4 announcement at the VGX 2013 event on Saturday, December 7, squashing any rumors concerning the reveal of the next post-apocalyptic RPG.

Fallout 4 has been heavily speculated in recent weeks after the appearance of a teaser website that hosts a mysterious countdown and launches different Morse code messages every few days.

Now, ahead of the VGX 2013 event in Los Angeles this weekend, Bethesda has been forced to confirm on Twitter that it's not going to make any announcement at the large awards ceremony.

According to Bethesda's Vice President of PR and Marketing, Pete Hines, the company "Is not showing/talking about anything at VGX."

The countdown on the teaser website expires later this month, well after the VGX 2013 event, so it's possible that Bethesda will make its own announcement.
