With over 300 million transistors and requiring 50% less power than its predecessor, the 6800 Ultra, the new NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX is bound to bring even more realism in the world of PC games.

NVIDIA, which also manufactures the graphics solution used by Play Station 3, has not forgotten that the universal PC is also a great environment
for games and according to certain tests, GeForce 7800 GTX is 2.3 times faster than the GeForce 6800 Ultra.

GeForce 7800 GTX uses Microsoft DirectX 9 Shader Model 3.0 and offers transparency supersampling and multisampling antialiasing.

Seeing that HDTV is the latest fashion in image, GeForce 7800 GTX supports a 1080p HD resolution.

The price announced by NVIDIA for this video card is of $600, and the results of the tests are amazing.

Even if it's running at only 430 MHz, NVIDIA has added in GeForce 7800 GTX 8 vertex shader pipelines and 24 pixel shader pipes.

In the tests carried out by PC World, GeForce 7800 GTX has scored better than ATI Radeon 850 XT Platinum, obtaining results of 65 fps and 42 fps in the Doom 3 tests, while the previous records had reached only 52 and 31 fps.

The new solution from NVIDIA will allow the game developers to create new titles with more spectacular and complex graphics than ever before.
