Nitrux OS Icons, a pack of handcrafted icons that are compatible with a lot of operating systems, including Ubuntu 13.04, has been updated to version 3.0.8.

The icons in Nitrux OS are infinitely scalable, which means that they are compatible with a large number of operating systems.

More than 6,000 vector icons have been included in this pack, and all of them are hand-painted. A minimalistic approach has been used to design the icons and to avoid cluttered desktops.

Highlights of Nitrux OS 3.0.8:

• The Empathy, Emesene, Fontforge, Help, Info, Gajim, Emerald, Google+, and Hotot items have been revised; • Unity is no longer using the symbolic battery icon and Gnome Shell and Cinnamon users may need to re-enable them; • A few new icons have been added.

The installation for Ubuntu 13.04 is quite simple and can be done from a terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:upubuntu-com/nitrux sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install nitruxos You can also download Nitrux OS Icons 3.0.8 right now from Softpedia.
