The EV makes it up hill, in reverse, in under 2 minutes

At this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, Nissan LEAF, the environmentally-friendly EV, succeeded both in impressing the crowds and in setting new standards for green driving.

The vehicle succeeded in going 1.16 miles, uphill and backwards, in just 1 minute and 57 seconds.

Driver Terry Grant has been preparing for this race for quite a while, and argues that it was all worth the effort.

In spite of the road having twists and turns and even some obstacles, it seems that the race was rather enjoyable.

In preparation for the race, the EV had to undergo some changes, as engineers needed to remove its reverse speed limiter.

Apparently, without their having done so, the vehicle wouldn't have been able to travel as fast in reverse as it does forward.
