Nintendo held a very special Direct video conference yesterday, in which the company presented a wide array of games for its 3DS platform, as well as for the Wii U home console.

Nintendo opted some time ago to share all of its news directly with fans via special Direct video conferences in which its executives, including president Satoru Iwata, talk about the new games coming to the company's various platforms.

Yesterday's Direct was no exception, as Iwata opted to show off many different 3DS titles, including all-new experiences, like Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros., but also already confirmed titles, like Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D.

For the Wii U, Iwata revealed that a fresh expansion was coming to New Super Mario Bros. U, in the form of New Super Luigi U, as well as different Virtual Console titles, including Earthbound.
