3 or 4 working days at most

Not even a week has passed since the Nintendo Wii was launched and some consoles have already gone bust. A few Wii owners experienced problems when trying to download a WiiConnect 24 update.

Apparently, a small number of Wiis were affected by this patch and Nintendo vows to replace them within three of four working days, according to IGN. Personally, I don't like Nintendo and their consoles that much, but I have to give that to them, they seem to care about their consumers (or they have a really good PR company working for them, who advises them, what and when to do it).

All these glitches and issues encountered by the American Wii may benefit European gamers as, probably, Nintendo U.K. will try and find a cure for them before the December 8 release. From this point of view, you could say that it pays off to be European. Yeah, you have to wait a little more for consoles and games, but when you get them, you take full advantage of them as they are delivered to you in tip-top shape.

You decide what is better: getting your next-gen on day one with bugs and glitches or waiting a little more for an improved and glitch-free version?
