Nintendo is going to release its upcoming Wii U on December 21, at least according to a new listing found by customers on the Amazon Germany website and might cost €399.99 ($506).

Nintendo presented a wide variety of details about its upcoming Wii U home console at this month’s E3 2012 presentation but, unfortunately for potential customers, important things like a price or a release date weren’t revealed.

After hearing that the console might be launched in November, Amazon Germany has posted a listing for the device, mentioning that it will be launched on December 21 and comes with an unofficial price tag of €399.99 (around $506).

While the listing mentions that the price can change, the release date seems to be official, although it’s now been deleted.

Nintendo has declined to comment on the issue, so it seems that an official announcement won’t be made anytime soon.
