Another day, another report about the actual price of the upcoming Nintendo Wii U, as this time it seems that the new console might cost $299 (around €242).

Nintendo showed off the final version of the Wii U at E3 2012 last month, but the Japanese company declined to pin an actual price tag or a release date on the device.

As such, quite a few reports have appeared, each with different versions of the console’s price or its launch date.

GameTrailers has posted the latest rumor, heard from “certain channels”, saying that the Wii U is going to be priced at $299 (around €242 when converted).

As you can imagine, Nintendo hasn’t commented on the report.

Seeing as how the company is still taking its time before presenting the actual price or the release date for its new console, fans still have a lot of waiting to do.
