I know many of you are just craving for a Nintendo Wii and probably you went online in order to get one. You could call it bad luck as the Nintendo Wii
pre-orders on Amazon.co.uk were halted in a matter of minutes.

As EuroGamer reports, the Nintendo Wii pre-orders began today at exactly 09.37 (Central European Time I guess) and were closed at 20 minutes past 10 am. If you do the math, you will realize that the pre-ordering lasted a little under one hour. EuroGamer also says that this was Amazon's "launch day allocation". So if you live in Europe and didn't get online in time to place your pre-order, tough luck!

As we can read from the Amazon website, these Nintendo Wii pre-orders are set to be delivered on December the 14th. Funny, you might say, keeping in mind that the European release date for Sony's next-gen is on the 8th of December. EuroGamer claims to have investigated this issues and state that this is a glitch in the website's system and once you play around with the delivery options, the date will revert back to December 8. At least Nintendo doesn't make Europeans wait until March as Sony does.
