Nintendo is reportedly getting ready to debut a redesigned Wii right before the winter holidays next month, in the form of the Wii Mini.

Nintendo has just released the Wii U in North America and is getting ready to debut the new home console in other territories, like Europe or Japan in the following weeks.

Besides the new platform, however, it seems that Nintendo will also release a special Wii Mini version next month.

According to NWR, an undisclosed retailer has confirmed that a redesigned Wii called the Wii Mini will be released on December 7, 2012, and will include a smaller console, as well as a sensor bar, a Wii Remote Plus, and a Nunchuk.

As of yet, however, this is just a report and Nintendo hasn’t even commented on the possibility of seeing a redesigned Wii anytime soon.
