Nintendo is announcing that those who own a Nintendo Wii home gaming console can get their hands on two titles via digital download, one on theWiiWare and the other on the Virtual Console.

The Japanese company is also announcing that beginning with April 6, the releases for the Nintendo Wii will be supplemented by the ones that will be coming to the Nintendo DSi, which is launching in North America.

Those who enjoy quick and interesting downloadable games can get their hands on Bonjsai Barber, a title created by Nintendo, which is set to sell for 1,000 Wii Points. The game should support up to four players and is rated E for everyone.

As the title implies, players will take on the role of a bonsai barber, who must respect the wishes of villagers who own the bonsai, as far as looks go. Each of the various customers, which range from an onion to a cactus with a cowboy look and a carrot with a Devil may care attitude, has specific needs and you will need to use your tools, like scissors, clippers, can of spray, to choose the suited haircut. If you succeed in giving them what they want, you might get a gift or a postcard from them.

In what seems to be a trend for Nintendo, the most intriguing offer of the week is on the Virtual Console. Gamers interested in retro offerings can get their hands on Super Punch Out!, a title that initially appeared on Super NES. It will cost 800 Wii Points. This is the sequel to the first game in the series, which appeared on the NES, and players can get into the ring once again in order to receive the World Video Boxing Association trophy and belt. You can face the boxers from the last game but also new characters.
