If you are sick and tired of the regular weather forecast, maybe you will want to check out the latest Nintendo Wii update. From the looks of it, the Wii Weather channel is up and running.

So forget any weather forecast (may it be semi-nude Japanese girls or whatever) you don't even have to turn on your TV set or radio, you can get the required information straight from your Nintendo next-gen.

The
Wii forecast still has a few glitches, failing to provide accurate temperature readings, but I guess that is something that will be dealt with over time. At the time I was writing this material, the Wii Weather channel was available to all PAL and Japanese owners but Nintendo promises to have this service up and running for American and Canadian residents as soon as possible.

Although this service allows you to zoom anywhere on the globe and see weather even in Reykjavik (the capital of Iceland if you missed your Geography lesson), some may find it useless. Or you can spin the globe really fast and make everyone on the surface of the Earth puke.

There's a lot of interesting stuff or things you can do with the Wii Weather channel. You can gather your friends and challenge them to a game of guess the temperature. You can take turns guessing what temperature is in different capitals of the world. Wouldn't that be fun? NOT!!!!
