As the year comes to an end, every publication is making classifications, rankings on every possible topic. This is also the case of PC World magazine, publication that has compiled their top 20 classification for the most innovative products of the year.

Gamers are represented in this classification by the Nintendo Wii, next-gen console which secures the number four spot. This is the PC World magazine description for the Wii: "The US$ 250 Wii video game console boasts powerful new motion-sensing controllers that make game play both more entertaining and more active. In specially designed games, you can swing the Wii Remote or the joystick-like Nunchuck to have your character smash a tennis ball or throw a nasty left hook. It's fun and addictive, and ushers in a new era for gaming."

Are they right or are they right? The only things that are considered more innovative than the Wii by PC World are Microsoft Office 2007 topping the chart, Intel Core 2 Duo trailing in at number two and closing the top three Parallesls Desktop for Mac.

The rest of the classification is filled by Samsung 32GB SSD (5), Sony Reader (6), YouOS(7), Dell XPS M2010 (8), T-Mobile Dash (10), Pioneer Inno (11), Farecast (12), Olympus Evolt E-330 (14). Google SketchUP (15), the biggest disappointment the PlayStation 3 (16), RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100 (17), Logitech NuLooq (19) and finally, Shire E500PTH Sound Isolating Earphones at number 20.
