Nintendo to Showcase 32 Games for the 3DS in Tokyo

The Nintendo 3DS has lots of games incoming

Nintendo is getting ready to release its brand new Nintendo 3DS handheld console, so the Japanese company has just detailed the special edition of its Nintendo World 2011 conference, where it will showcase 32 games that will appear on the platform.

The Nintendo 3DS is set to be a game changer, when it is released next year, and the company itself is ready to showcase just how capable the platform really is.

As such, between January 8 and January 10, at the Nintendo World 2011 exposition, 32 games for the 3DS will be showcased, with 15 of them being playable on the show floor.

The conference will be held in Tokyo, at the Makuhari Messe convention center, and people will get a chance to experience quality titles like Kid Icarus, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D or Nintendogs + cats, from Nintendo, as well as solid third-party ones like Resident Evil: Revelations or Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D.

The Nintendo 3DS is set to be launched by the company in Japan next February, and around the rest of the world in March.

The platform will be the first handheld console to feature 3D technology without the necessity of special glasses, and Nintendo is confident that it will sell a huge number of units.
