Nintendo sheds its more typical shyness for this week's line of games and gives a stunning eight new titles for download. So, get your consoles ready and let's get this started. First off, we have the WiiWare that receives three games, Carnival King, "Aha! I Got It!" Escape Game and Family Card Games. The first one, Carnival King, brings the wholesome fun of the amusement park and the challenges its games have to offer. The title has three different theme parks: Arcadia, Dreamland and Lagoon Park and features different difficulty levels to adjust to each individual player. The game is published by Incredible Technologies and is priced at 700 Wii points.

The second title on the Wii is the "Aha! I Got It!" Escape Game that features a number of puzzles that will make ample use of the Wii Remote for their solutions. As a gift for Milo's birthday, his father turned his entire room into a huge puzzle-maze and it's up to you to let him enjoy his birthday present. The title is published by Ateam Inc. and is priced at 500 Wii points. The third addition to Nintendo's Wii is Family Card Games, published by Aksys Games. It is a simple card game, with three available modes: Daifugo, Speed or Memory and it is priced at 500 Wii points.

The DSi also gets three additions. The first is Sparkle Snapshots, a graphic application for the handheld. It offers simple modifications for images, like frames, backgrounds and stamps, but also supports more advanced editing functions. The game is published by Nintendo and is priced at 500 DSi points. The second one is BiP Media's Viking Invasion that will have players fight off the viking invasion with all sorts of contraptions. As you defeat each wave of the invasion, the enemy will become more powerful, but you'll also unlock more advanced defenses like canons that shoot studded shells, tornado-blowing windmills to repel the ships or monoliths that strengthen your fortifications. The game is tagged with 800 DSi points.

The last addition to Nintendo's DSi is Battle of Giants: Dragons – Bronze Edition. The game will have players confront the evil SALMU dragons, as they search for the 25 bronze gems the SALMU stole. The game features over ten levels, a Campaign and Survival mode and three difficulty levels, and it is priced at 800 DSi points. The Virtual console gets Capcom's Fighting Street, a port of the original Street Fighter and Sega's R-TYPE. While the classic fighting game is priced at 800 Wii points, the side-scrolling arcade “shoot 'em up” is available for 500.
