14 DAY TRIAL // Nintendo has updated its WiiWare and DSiWare services this week with some fresh new titles, ranging from what some might call sports games, Snowpack Park, and other various titles including music ones or a remake of the original Tetris.
First off, Nintendo Wii owners can enjoy two new games this week on the WiiWare service, the aforementioned Snowpack Park and Spin Master.
Snowpack Park is a pretty interesting title, that lets you take care of penguins and even play with them by throwing the animals at in a basketball hoop, and see if you can set a high score.
Other mini-games with the penguins are also available, and you can even collect photos of your character and the small animals by using the game's dedicated option.
Snowpack Park is available for 800 Wii Points.
Next up we have Spin Master, a Virtual Console title that was released originally for the Neo Geo arcade system.
It is a classic side-scrolling action game that tasks players with finding a treasure, as well as the girlfriend of the main character, which was kidnapped by the bad guys.
Five different stages with special bosses and different enemies are included, and the whole game costs 900 Wii Points.
Nintendo DSi owners can enjoy three new titles, including Tetris Party Live, Music on: Electric Guitar and Supermarket Mania.
Tetris Party Live, as you can clearly figure out, is a new take on the classic puzzle game, and allows up to four players to compete one against another by using the Nintendo DSi's Wi-Fi Connection service.
It also has a multiple single-player modes, and will no doubt keep you entertained on those long trips, for just 500 DSi Points.
Music on: Electric Guitar, for 200 DSi Points, will turn your handheld console into an electric guitar and allow you to play it with the help of the stylus, which acts as a pick.
Different options are available, and you can discover lots of different chords, as well as save up to 10 of your jam sessions.
Last but not least, we have Supermarket Mania, a time management game that lets you take care of five different grocery stores, keep them supplied with products and earn money to upgrade the stores and get more people to buy from you than your rivals.
