After two weeks of lackluster updates, Nintendo is making things right by finally releasing hit tower defense game Plants vs. Zombies onto the DSiWare, and lots of other titles for the WiiWare service.

First up, on the DSiWare front, we have PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies, a fun tower defense game that finally made its way onto the Nintendo DSi after reaching massive sales on the PC, Mac, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and lots of other platforms.

The goal is to defend your house from the rampaging zombies by using a wide array of plants that attack the undead.

You can get this fun game for 800 DSi Points.

Besides the puzzle title above, DSi owners can also get Rabi Lady, an adventure game that borrows heavily from Lewis Carroll's classic ‘Alice in Wonderland’ book.

Alice follows her pet rabbit through a variety of levels filled with challenges to overcome and puzzles to solve, all for 500 DSi Points.

For those who want a more traditional puzzle game, the DSiWare has also received 5 in 1 Mahjong, which, in case you didn't notice from its name, adds 5 special twists on the classic Mahjong title game.

These range from the standard one, with over 300 different layouts, to Countdown, which puts you against the clock, Remember, which trains your memory, Shuffle or Match, all for 200 DSi Points.

On the WiiWare service, we have one full game and a special demo.

The full game is called Liight, which tasks you with using colored lights and shadows to solve puzzles and create music in the process.

The whole mechanic is quite innovative and, with a price of just 500 Wii points, it's worth a try.

If you don't want to spend anything this week, then you'll be thrilled to hear that a demo for Mix Superstar has just been released.

The demo offers a glimpse into the special music game that allows you mix up samples and tracks and then export them as a whole song so you can listen to it on the go.

If the free demo wets your music whistle, then you can buy the full game for 500 Wii Points.
