This week's Nintendo WiiWare and DSiWare updates bring quite a lot of different experiences, ranging from wholesome title Family Games to Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ.

First off, we have the WiiWare service, which received three new downloadable games and a virtual console one.

The first title is called Family Games and, as you can imagine, has a variety of mini-games based on popular experiences like Dots, Tic-Tac-Toe, Battleships or Hangman.

Up to four players can join in and you even have 20 special achievements to unlock, all for just 500 Wii Points.

Next up, we have a title called ilt line, coming from Gaijin Games, which is a rhythm racing game with a special dubstep soundtrack and unique aesthetic.

You have 15 levels of "intense musical racing" that need to be "experienced to be believed," according to its developer.

The full game is available for 500 Wii points, while a demo can also be downloaded.

The last full-pledged WiiWare game this week is Violin Paradise which, as you can imagine, allows four people to play different roles as a conductor, violinist, violist or cellist in order to perform famous classical music.

Depending on your own skills, you will unlock more items and objects, all for 700 Wii points.

Retro game fans will be able to enjoy SNES classic Darius Twin, which, for 800 Wii Points, will put players in the role of space pilots that need to defeat an evil space tyrant called Belser and ensure the safety of the whole galaxy.

The DSiWare service has also been updated with three new titles this week.

By far the most interesting one is Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ, which is a fun first person shooter that puts you under the red hood of the famous fairy tale character that needs to destroy zombies.

You can take part in this shooter mayhem for 800 DSi Points.

Next up, there's Jam Space: PocketStudio, which claims to add "the power of a recording studio" onto your DSi, so that you can compose tracks, tweak existing ones or use instruments to create your own songs.

For 500 DSi Points, you too will be able to begin your music career with this game.

Last but not least, we have Just Sing! Christmas Songs, a karaoke title that will get you into the holiday spirit with famous tunes like Jingle Bells or Silent Night.

You can use the built-in microphone of the DSi to sing and then compare scores with other people, all for 200 DSi Points.
