Two games for the console and one for the DSi

Nintendo have been slacking off this month, and their online store hasn't delivered a lot of new games. Last week all that they could muster was one title for each of the Virtual Console, WiiWare, and DSiWare. Thorium Wars is the lucky one that managed to steal the spotlight for the DSi while Word Searcher and Final Fantasy had a chance to connect with console owners. This week, the Wii gets two new games while the DSi manages to score another title.

Gravitronix is developed by Medaverse Studios and is a multiplayer focused game. It can support up to eight players in a single match where gamers have to defend their portion of a spherical battlefront from various incoming projectiles. Gravitronix is Medaverse’s sole original game this week and is priced at 500 Wii Points or $5.

Capcom carries its share of the load and brings a fighting game for the Wii. The Super NES old-school beat-'em-up Final Fight 2 will follow the professional wrestler Mike Haggar as he takes on the Mad Gear Gang. Even if he was elected as mayor, Haggard isn't afraid to enforce his ideas on the unjust and he will do so this time with the help of Maki and Carlos. The game is priced at 800 Wii Points or $8 and has a co-op mode that supports up to two players.

The last game added by Nintendo this week is a pinball for the DSi. Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon is developed by Fuse Games and is a 500 DSi points title. Fuse are better known for creating the Mario Pinball Land for the Game Boy Advance and Metroid Prime Pinball for the DS so we could say they really like pinball. Nintendo didn't offer a lot of information regarding the gameplay, but then again, it's pinball, there isn't much variation one can do with the concept. The game will offer two modes for players to get under the skin of 12 Olympian gods.
