It would make perfect sense with the new Opera browser finished

Keyboard for the Wii huh? I'm not saying yes huh, or no huh, I'm just huhing at the whole thing because I'm skeptical about it. Game Informer thinks it's a possibility though, as the picture on your left, if theirs. Well, not theirs, but from them. How would you feel about a Wiiboard, as the proud owner of a Nintendo Wii? You probably like the idea of surfing the Internet using a keyboard and not that frikkin Wiimote that you use for everything else, but would it work?

First of all, it's more than possible to plug in a Wii specific keyboard with the two USB sockets at the back of the console. Then, it would make perfect sense, as the new Opera has been finished and Internet browsing just doesn't go with swinging and twisting the controller. OK, so maybe it does, but a keyboard makes much more sense.

The only problem (if we can call it a problem) is that with a keyboard, the player would have to swap constantly between it and the Wiimote, which may get frustrating at a point. But that's only if the don't decide to release a keyboard similar to the one Microsoft's released for their Xbox 360. Their's sticks wonderfully to the bottom of the joystick, letting the player button at will, whether he/she is typing or shooting, without any interference from the other device. Nintendo's won't stick to the Wiimote, that's for sure.
