Ninja Gaiden Sigma Unlockables (PS3)

Next-gen ninja-style action

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a video game to be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3. It was first revealed by Famitsu magazine in September 2006. It is a remake of Ninja Gaiden Black, which was originally released on the Xbox, with many upgrades: new stages and weapons, a major upgrade to graphics and 'direction', some FMVs have been replaced with in-game graphics cutscenes (even making some playable) and Rachel, a demon hunter, will be a playable character, with four chapters as opposed to Ryu's sixteen

and her own set of attacks and weaponry.

Other notable additions are at least one new weapon, namely a set of dual-wielding katanas called Dragon's Claw and Tiger's Fang, combat that takes place on top of water while performing the water run technique, new boss fights such as a battle with Gamov and new encounters of old bosses, such as an encounter with Ishtaros in the chapel in place of the Unawakened Alma, previously only a boss in the mission modes or in the final stages of Master Ninja difficulty, and a worm boss encounter with significantly more worms coming from all directions around Ryu.

On April 26, 2007, a demo of the game was released on the Playstation Network American and Japanese stores. To the dismay of many Ninja Gaiden veterans, the scoring system of the demo has retained a scoring glitch from Ninja Gaiden Black which allows players to get exorbitantly high scores on the leaderboards.

Unlockables

Extra Costumes
You can unlock Extra Costumes by beating the game on various difficulties.

Ashtar Ryu costume - Beat story mode on the Hard difficulty setting.

Classic Ryuken costume - Beat story mode on the Normal difficulty setting.

Unlock Mission Mode
To unlock mission mode, beat the normal difficulty setting in story mode.
