The Xbox 360 is a very popular console, and in recent months it has really sold well thanks to its low price and, most importantly, due to the top-notch online service that is Xbox Live, which offers a lot of interesting things like DLC (Downloadable Content), demos, add-ons and a variety of other things that will entertain players.

But in an effort to make even more customers buy the console, Microsoft has decided once again to employ the Xbox Live Deal of the Week feature, which was brought in December, for the holiday season, and reappeared last week when it offered Arcade hit Braid at a lower price than normal.

Now, as another week has started, the community manager for the Xbox 360, Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, has just announced that Xbox Live Gold subscribers will get a chance to download the Mission Mode DLC for Tecmo's very popular but challenging Ninja Gaiden II hack-and-slash game. The pack, which was normally priced at 800 MS Points, is now going for just 560, with a 33-percent discount at the retail price.

The Mission Mode pack introduces new adventures for the main protagonist of the game, Ryu Hayabusa, offering him two new modes in which players can test their Ninja skills against hundreds of enemies. Karma Attack missions task you with trying to attain the highest score possible, while Survival ones give you just one weapon and a big number of enemies, which you must fend off in order to attain the best score, comparable by worldwide leaderboards kept by Microsoft.

All in all, if you delayed the purchase of this DLC since its July release, now is the perfect time to add it to your original copy of the game and experience these new adventures that test out your abilities and skills in wielding the traditional Ninja weapons.
