Ninja Gaiden 3 Screenshots Show Off Stabbing, Slicing, Blood and a Dragon

For those who are thinking that the upcoming Ninja Gaiden 3 isn't a proper game, what with the lack of dismemberment or the easier difficulty modes, the developers at Team Ninja have presented a new set of screenshots which showcase the protagonist, Ryu Hayabusa, in lots of gory battles.

Ninja Gaiden 3 promises to deliver a more realistic take on the universe of the franchise, but this doesn't mean that there won't be bloody battles, gratuitous violence, and all sorts of mystical powers that can be used by elite ninja warrior Ryu Hayabusa through his adventures.

To show off some more glimpses of the game's combat, Team Ninja has presented a fresh set of screenshots, depicting Ryu in a mountain environment, slicing and dicing away at his extremely bloody foes. The last few images also show off some of the more magical elements from the game, complete with a dragon.

Look forward to more images from Ninja Gaiden 3 as we approach the beginning of 2012, when it's scheduled to appear.
