Forum Nokia Innovative Series program is expanding even more with the help of nine more mobile application developers, small and middle sized companies, in order to get started on upgrading applications, such as mobile voice reminders, data protection and device security solutions, point-to-point travel navigation, and others.

After it included in its ranks six North American and two European developers in the first half of this year, Nokia is now bringing in other developers, Asian, European and American. Even if they are fairly small companies, the new arrivals are regarded as the best and most promising at the present moment.

All parties involved will benefit from this collaboration, but all the more the newly added companies, as they will enjoy business and market support. Moreover, should any improvements be made to the earlier specified applications, they will be on display for the whole world to take into consideration.

The road towards the acceptance in this program was long and difficult, and only those that accomplished accurately the tasks they had been assigned were taken into account. The selection process lasted more than a year, and consisted of those companies developing applications useful for Nokia, which they had then to present and convince with. The selection also required that these applications have a clear, well determined place on the market.

"Nokia is proud to recognize these outstanding developers from Asia, Europe and the Americas as participants in our 2008 Forum Nokia Innovation Series. Our program is dedicated to speeding the growth and development of innovative companies building next-generation applications and services for the global mobile marketplace." said Tom Libretto, vice president of Forum Nokia, about the new “additions” to the Innovative program.

"Developers of all sizes around the globe are now producing exceptionally creative and attractive mobile software and services. Forum Nokia is pleased to provide the technical and business support services to help bring these applications to the attention of consumers and business users worldwide." Libretto further added.

All that is left for us regular users to do now is to hope for the success of the program, and for the accomplishment of all the tasks in as little time as possible.
