A new flavor of Nimbuzz for Symbian devices is now available for download, with a new interface included in the mix, and with a series of other enhancements as well.

The application was already made available for download via Nimbuzz’ website, and is expected to hit the Nokia Store next week.

Moreover, the company also says that they plan on turning on auto-update for the new application release in the coming days.

“One of the first things I’m sure you will notice is the beautifully redesigned Home Screen. We made the icons bigger and rearranged them in grid view so you can access the most important functions with a single touch,” Numbuzz’ Andrei Piftor notes in a recent blog post.

The new flavor of the application arrives with a set of three new icons packed inside, namely Recent Chats, N-World and Group chat.

The full changelog for the new Nimbuzz 3.3 for Nokia Symbian handsets includes: - Redesigned Home Screen for fast access to your favorite features - Three new icons added: Recent Chats, N-World and Groupchat - Block contacts that annoy you - New “Notifiable” icon – the green half moon - Change your password from the inside the app - 30% faster login.

Users will be able to see the aforementioned icon with a half green moon next to their contacts who closed the Nimbuzz application but who can still receive messages on their devices.

The icon stands for ‘Notifiable’ and appears only for those contacts who can still receive push (those who own an iPhone or an Android device) or Ping notifications (for those who use Nimbuzz on a Java or Symbian phone).

Nimbuzz will push the messages to these users, but it might take a while before they actually see them, given the fact that the application was closed.

As mentioned above, Symbian users will be able to find the new application release on the company’s website.
